Why say it, if you don't mean it. I have no idea if he was serious, I don't know the man. He made the statement, he has condemned others for using hyperbole, therefore, he must be serious about his comments. Where is his apology if he was just "kidding" and wasn't serious, why hasn't Hayworth come out and denounced this type of talk?

it sure looks like you're defending him. you claim it is a non story etc....but, this is a story. this kind of political rhetoric is harmful to the country. like it or not, this guy is a leader in the community and his words have more effect than yours or mine.

except darla is full of faux outrage. she is the last one who should be spouting off about people supporting stupid statements or actions when she herself has said that the police did a wonderful job by falsely arresting, incarcerating, and subjecting to psych examinations because darla doesn't like guns. had this been said by a democrat, darla would say she was disappointed and would send a strongly worded letter, at best.
