No one is banning guns; some simply want to disallow them inside the capitol building. Again, why does anyone other than security need a gun to attend a legislative session, go to an appointment with their representative, or make a presentation?

What a ridiculous argument. They are peace officers, and their job is providing security. Their job is not to decide on their own -- since they are not the supreme court -- whether a bill is constitutional or not.
