“Woke”

Racist, and apologized for… Biden is not out promoting racism, he like everyone has some racist concepts in his head, but he is not proud of it, I’m ok with people who apologize and try to do better. It’s those who are blatantly proud of racism and go out promoting it who I have a real problem with.

WOKE and CRT are leftist tools intended to shut down anyone of opposing political interests. When the label 'racist' is applied in a way that brands someone from birth and 'woke' is intended to differentiate a learning concept of racism and those who have supposedly gotten 'better' about it with no evidence possible to back it up, they become meaningless terms. Hell, you have morons on your side calling people racist because they REFUSE to look at skin color, which tells us all that you're only use for racism is a weapon

One is not woke simply because she calls herself woke, that’s for sure.

It's 2023. The fact that we still have people posting the definition of woke as if they, or others, don't know the dictionary term is head shaking. By the dictionary definition yes, we should all be woke. How the term is applied in the real world doesn't always match its definition. That's why you have people who even call themselves woke pushing back against wokeness and all that is entails. So posting a definition of the term and saying #staywoke in 2023 hits very differently than when (at least I first saw) people doing it in like 2015.

It's like the term anti-racist. On the surface sure, if the alternative is pro-racist then yes I'd rather be anti-racist. But that doesn't mean ideas or policies are good because one labels them anti-racist. Woke is the same.

and EXACTLY in that same respect for the people pushing ANTIFA...........claiming if you're against ANTIFA, then you're fascist............yet I have not, to this day, heard any reasonable explanation why an anti fascist group who uses fascist tactics should be considered legitimately anti fascist.

Look at this poor guy, he told students to be respectful even when you disagree with someone but no one should force you to accept things you dont believe. For saying that he was reported to authorities for being a terrorists and the authorities agreed.

Woke is a derogatory term used against people for trying not to be racist.

You struggling to decide if Joe is woke of racist? How many racist statements uttered by a racist, that they have to "apologize" for, constitutes "...trying not to be racist"?

You forgot something

"Until they disagree with you".

Because you don't think leftists here don't agree with it and wouldnt love to see that happen here?

yeah, I get the outrage. I also get the progressive steps that leftists here take from other countries, but we should focus on OUR issues here, not defend shit from other countries.

Yeah we should wait until it gets here to address it. Parents who opposed school boards have already been labeled domestic terrorists by the doj.

 comedy gold

Cracka pleez :palm:

Dems called anyone who did not vote for Obama a white supremacist. And called anyone who disagreed with the messiah in the slightest way, a white supremacist.

Leftists even call conservative Blacks white supremacists. :palm:

Look at brandon,

"If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black"

Interesting perspective Jarod, it’s ok to be racist as long as you profess yourself attempting not to be.

Exactly. Use the right terms and call others racist if they don't want CRT, affirmative action, or reparations. That proves you can't be racist and establishes your liberal credentials as the great white hope for poor minorities.

Words are like that, but I’m pushing back on the “new” meaning of “woke” because it’s an attempt to attack those trying to fight racism, and I believe we still need to fight racism.

Like this?

"If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black"

You don't "fight" racism but calling anyone who disagrees with you a racist
