The dead Eagle will decompose and fertilize the ground which will in turn grow plants and trees which will in turn produce oxygen which will in turn help to offset the effects of carbon related to the burning of fossil fuels and help to mitigate climate change.

On the other hand, when some asshole gun sucker shoots one, it gets stuffed and mounted on a wall in a room in a house, where it does no good at all.
