As for the Jan 6 committee, no it wasn't an imaginary delusion. It was two parts Stalinist show trial and one part Kafka. It was completely one-sided, rigged to show a predetermined conclusion, and a fucking waste of time and taxpayer money. You might note that NOTHING came of it and it is now a all but forgotten occurrence. It cost both Republicans that cooperated with it their seats in the House as well.
As for Trump staffers testifying. If you knew you were in front of a Stalinist show trial what would you do? Go down as a martyr to the gulag and prison, or simply parrot what the party and court wanted to hear?
