Then until that happens it's irrelevant. If it doesn't require a conviction then it's merely opinion and thats no different than disqualifying based on hair color.

It is different because its a qualification for office, hair color is not. This issue is who and how it is determined to be true.

I'm glad to see you've changed your tune a bit from the other day. Well anything short of a conviction is an opinion. Since insurrection is illegal and citizens are afforded due process, to punish someone before they are convicted of something criminal you sure as shit better have a conviction. The fact this has to be explained to you means you're either a complete idiot or the TDS is so advanced in you that all thats left for you is palliative care because the TDS is in its final stages.
