I mean, there are mountains of evidence at this point. Not just the endless footage from that day - but all of the efforts leading up to 1/6 to disrupt the peaceful transition of power & overturn a legitimate election. He just wanted to stay in power.
I don't get why anyone is giving Trump a pass here. He's an authoritarian through & through. And he's ready to continue his efforts.

And there is video of Trump telling them to PEACEFULLY Protest. I can't recall Trump telling them to riot on the Capitol. And then there is Trump offering the National Guard which was rejected due to "optics".

But he wont be able to. I think most of us here, who are at least halfway realistic and sane KNOW that DJT will never spend a single day in jail. ZERO. Instead life will go on and again he will be elected POTUS.
There's a good chance trump will win. When he does, and gets rid of the guardrails that kept him from stealing the election in 2020, do you really think he's going to care about anyone but himself? He is dangerous and not just to "duh libs", but to all Americans.

Actually he wants secure borders. Biden is flooding the country with illegals that the Dems hope to give them the right to vote or just wait 18 years till their kids can vote. The problem is people on the terror watch list are also trying to sneak in. These people are non vetted. I'm OK with increasing immigration quotas but I want people to be vetted. Trump also knows our economy runs on energy and we are blessed to be sitting on a lot of it. He wants to export energy to our allies. That helps the trade deficit and helps inflation. Believe me, I don't want it to happen. Just because trump lost in 2020, does not mean people aren't stupid enough to vote for him again. Yes, trump lost in 2020, but 10's of millions of people voted for him.
