I have never so much as insinuated that anyone pay reparations to anyone for the injustices done to the black person in this country by the practice of slavery. That does not change the fact that it happened and anyone who hand a hand in it at the time was despicable.

Just as anyone who now displays the confederate flag (which is the universal symbol of that practice) is also a racist trying to cover that fact with excuses. It is no different than flying the Nazi swastika although I would not be surprised if you flew that proudly too.
