Will there be a war?

Be wary, USA!

The main guide of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea is the Juche Idea created by the Great Leader President KIM IL SUNG

The Great Leader said:

'The Juche Idea means, in few words, that the owner of the revolution and construction are the people's masses'

The Juche Idea is based in the thinking that the person is the owner of everything and use it to serve him.

To materialize the Juche Idea means to maintain the position of owner of the revolution and construction and improve it from an independent and creative way. The Juche Idea allows to create an indestructible unit between the people's masses and the Leader, so in this way an independent and sovereign state can be built and the people can use their talent and power for the common benefit.

The first step to create an state of this kind, is to maintain a Chajusong (Independence) in the politics. So the government can resolve all the problems from an independent and sovereign way, he can protect the dignity of the nation and act from the base of the equality in the external relations.

In the economical area the Juche Idea means the Self-Reliance, so with a powerful own production and military auto-defense the country isn't controlled by the imperialist nations.

The Juche Idea allows in this way to suppress the economical crisis and external dependence, to eliminate the difference between rich and poor classes and secure the blooming and prosperity of the nation.

In the defense area the Juche Idea means Self-Defence, it's a basic point to warrant the protection of the country using an invincible military power that will protect the motherland and revolutionary achievements from the aggressive Yankee imperialism and its servants.

China and NK aren't friends. They were allied during the Korean conflict, along with the Soviets, as a sign of communist solidarity. Since China is one of our biggest trading partners, and the Soviet Union no longer exist.... Yeah I don't see much communist solidarity.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a socialist independent state that represents all the interests of the Korean people. The exploiter capitalist class disappeared totally, and the different sectors of the traders, peasants and industrial workers that once worked based in the private property, today they became socialist workers.

The workers, the peasants and the intellectuals are united working for their common goals, so all the people in the country form a big political-ideological unity.

The main tasks of the Government of the Republic are to achieve the total socialism in North Korea and get the peaceful unification with South Korea rejecting the external forces. This means to get the National Independence in all the Korean peninsula.

Today The D.P.R.K. is a genuine worker's state where all the people are completely liberated from the exploitation and oppression. The workers, peasants, soldiers and intellectuals are the real owners of the power and defend their interests.

The basic principle in the organization of the organs in the country is the Democratic Centralism.

All the power organs are elected by the masses and they must answer in front of them.

The administration organs are created by the power organs.

The inferior state organ work under the orders of the superior one, and the local state organs work under the surveillance of the central authorities.

The workers can participate widely in the state matters.

The Government of the Republic follow the line of the 'Three revolutions: The ideological, the technical and the cultural one.

Good memory. Adam did in fact abandon his conservative principles when it became financially beneficial.

I didn't abandon my conservative principles. I said a few nice things about unions, some of which used to even support conservatives, like the Teamsters.

I'll add as a side note, while I was pulling myself out of unemployment, I took a job where I was required to join a union (California being a union state) and I did not feel I gained any substantial benefit from being in and paying dues to that particular union except that it might have been harder for me to be fired. In a way, that is much less important to me than better compensation, which the union did not seem to do much about.

So, obviously I don't think unions are perfect and there are plenty of unions worth criticizing, but I also don't agree with your position that unions are inherently socialist. I think they have a place in capitalism.

Maybe in the 1930's but not today.
