The N vs S Korea conflict looks serious. If anything happnes we could get drawn in.
The problem is... which side do we back? If we back the South it will piss off our Chinese masters, if we back the North it will piss off the rest of the world. My guess is we back whoever the Chinese tell us to.
China is in no way the "masters" of the U.S. While we may owe them a big chunk, the reality is the very trade imbalance that creates all that debt also puts China in a role of dependency on the US. We stop buying their stuff, their economy goes south in a big way. They crash our economy, or make us a military enemy, and their economy goes too, probably harder and lower. (Making us a military enemy would be a prime excuse for us to cancel our debt. They ain't gonna risk that, nor are they going to risk being A-! trade partners.
We rebuild our manufacturing, we have a built-in market: ourselves. Who do they have to sell to, when they've deliberately kept the vast majority of their own population too poor to buy even their cheap assed crap?
I realize we have treaties with S. Korea, Japan, Taiwan. But our debt to china might make us rethink any help we give our allies if N.K. gets aggressive. I guess I'll never trust communists the way the rightwing in this country does.
Well, yeah. The 30,000 Troops we have at their border would pretty much ensure that. The N vs S Korea conflict looks serious. If anything happnes we could get drawn in.

Um... The Korean War never ended...
Considering that North Korea is still technically at war with the United States, it would hardly seem likely that we would side with them after sinking our ally's ship.
Chinia is in no way our masters. We have a debt of about a half trillion to them. Thats not even 25% of our annual revenue in the US. Japan even holds more US debt then china last i looked.
Its a misconception that china owns us.
Well, a communist totalitarian nation is also the apple of walstreet's eye, so in this upside down world, it's hard to know what's fucking likely, isn't it Adam?
Adam a couple months ago: Umm.. Unions like aren't that bad anymore, now that i've been activated to do my part in the jew collective plot to fascistify america.
woah. burn.![]()
Good memory. Adam did in fact abandon his conservative principles when it became financially beneficial.
I don't know his motives, but I'll agree with him when he's right. So, you're going to agree with the guy who attacks Adam only because he's a Jew???
