ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Can anyone just tell us who the hell is running our federal government right now?

You literally get censored out of existence for suggesting that anyone other than Joe Biden won the election last November. Yet there is no evidence today — four months later — that Mr. Biden is actually serving as president.

A weird Tron video this week appeared to show Mr. Biden — looking every bit the part of Max Headroom — interfacing with House Democrats in Congress. Digitally, of course.

He droned on for a few minutes using scripted psycho-pablum, sitting alone at a table. The table was empty except for his instruction manual. As he spoke haltingly, he looked up at a giant screen from which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stared awkwardly, fake smiling.

One could imagine the Dem droids watching from somewhere in the cybersphere nodding along obediently.

The digital president then opened the floor for questions.

“I’m happy to take questions,” he said, pretending for a moment to actually be the leader of the free world.

Then he remembered.

“If that’s what I’m supposed to do, Nance,” Mr. Biden added, using his bizarre nickname for the smiling droid staring down at him.

Her face twitched. Mr. Biden, apparently, had failed to display proper subservience.

“Whatever you want me to do,” he added meekly.

Even more alarming than his failure to display proper subservience was the notion that Mr. Biden had offered to allow questions and possibly even answer them.

The Overlords were not pleased.

They immediately issued a long censorship “beep.” Then the Overlords cut away from the video of the man claiming to be the leader of the free world and replaced it with a test pattern of colored bars.

There would be no questions. And certainly no answers.

Just a few days before, someone claiming to be the American president bombed Syria. The bombing was followed by a report out of the White House that Vice President Kamala D. Harris was not included in the decision to bomb Syria and that she was very displeased with the decision.

That may or may not rule out Ms. Harris as the person who is operating the federal government right now. Certainly, it seems to suggest she is, in fact, not currently the president.

Either way, it doesn’t answer the pressing question we all deserve to have answered.

Washington Times is little more than a tabloid. Not unlike the NY Post.

Further, Charles Hurt is a clown who contributes to Drudge along with the other typical Right Wing sites. Drudge/Breitbart automatically disqualifies anyone from serious consideration.

This gets a lot of coverage even in MS press -do you think Biden is aware of what he's done? I dont.

Biden never was a deep thinker -he's a long time political hack, and he's plugged into Prog terms like equity,
or "protecting the children" at the border. (not realized he is using hangers for shelter= "kids in cages").

He doesn't realize the consequences of his policies, like destroying our energy independence achieved by Trump

He's a shallow man behind a mask, and it's clear his handlers determine much of the agenda,if not the final say

Disagreeing with his policies or thinking his policies are bad does not mean he is not making those decisions.

There is not one thing that man said that is not correct. I followed the link from RCP. I tend to agree with it.

Annoisedukka is hopelessly lost, but Sailor knows better. The former believes that an administration like trump's, where nobody in his cabinet is competent and an incompetent POTUS makes policy based on whims, is normal.

Sailor isn't a trump supporter, but he's a Republican. So they ease their pain by poking fun at Biden.

His cabinet is a who's who of allstars who carry out his policies. It's a glaring difference from the previous petty little man.

Agree. But the dangerous ones are subtle and get tucked neatly away in bills that we don't know about. Big Pharma/Big Ag etc.

With anonymous, unlimited donations it makes it much harder for us to know exactly who owns each of them.

Probably doesn't matter anyway.

Vigilance is important.

Remember "The Caine Mutiny"? Just because a nut made it to be the Captain doesn't mean the entire system is flawed.

Everyone who has seen the movie remembers the antics a nutjob about strawberries and marbles. What many don't seem to remember are the comments about loyalty and the greater cause.
