Wow - I had missed that! It is sad when people don't understand the greatness that is Star Trek.

It seems like opposition parties always fumble great opportunities when it comes to challenging an incumbent for Prez. I thought Clinton was toast in '96, and the same with Bush in '04. But the best that anyone could muster was Dole & Kerry.
 
Obama will win, by how much depends on the economy. Right now the republicans are ruining the nation in an attempt to regain power. The republicans have failed consistently for 100 years, and yet their message appeals to ideologues of the right and many independent voters. I stand by my prediction when he was elected: he's Carter II. The election will be a bit closer because most blacks will vote for him, but a lot of them will stay home.

He'll serve two terms and then be called upon to run as a candidate to lead the One World Government. If he wins the OWG nomination you'll be able to get your millions from Germany as the financial world system will be more synchronized tax-wise. After all is said and done you'll be Obama's greatest supporter and donate huge sums to the Democratic political machine. Finally, you'll return to JPP and embrace \(\(())/)/ as a brother. :good4u:

Saved the nations auto industry
Saved the nation from another great depression
Implemented drastically needed banking and financial reforms
Implemented consumer financial protections from predatory lending practices
Instituted equal pay for equal work for women
Repealed don't ask don't tell
Appointed the nations first Chief Technology officer
Ended Bush's immoral war in Iraq
Authorized support that ended the Khaddafi regime
Created bipartisan deficit task force
Enacted the largest reform of student aid in the last 40 years
Implemented a stimulus plant that created 3.7 million new jobs by 2010 (CBO)
Drastically reduced the job loss rate that exploded under the Bush administration
Re-established American moral authority by rejecting Bush's immoral and inhumane acceptance of torture and returning to full compliance with the Geneva convention
Repealed stop loss policy
Increased pay and benefits for all our military personnel.
Re-organized FEMA and hired competent professionals to replace the unqualified Bush croney's.
Removed the moronic restrictions on stem cell research put in place by the anti-science Bush ideologues

And that's not partisan bull shit either. These are cold hard facts. In other words he's accomplished most of what he campaigned on. Did he do it to the extent, scope or speed his supporters would have liked to see? Hell no. Did he have to compromise along the way. Of course, that's the reality of politics outside of right wing lala land.

Has the economy lagged in it's recovery from the Bush recession, yes it has, but things could have been a lot worse had not the President acted. Has he had to fight a hostile opposition who opposed all and any action The President has taken, in the best interest of our nation, and in the process created a wholly disfunctional congress, for partisan political gain? Hell yea he's been handicapped by that. Is it true that scared angry white rednecks consider him a failure? Who cares what those idiots think. I'm just glad we don't have another incompetent moron like W in the White House!

The reality is President Obama inherited the worst shit hole our nation has been in since the great depression and he's done a fair job of leading us out of the disaster that was the Bush Presidency.

I'm no partisan of Obama and he's done plenty for which he deserves criticism but he will have my vote in 2012 as I made a solemn oath that which so ever President would be responsible for capturing or killing Osama bin Ladin would earn my vote. I keep my word.

The ironic thing though is that Obama won't get re-elected for any of these accomplishments but because the Repelican leadership is so weak that they couldn't organize a bun fight in a whore house! Yea....Obama wins re-election unless something dramatic happens between now and then or Republicans decide to nominate someone who is both competent and sane!

My prediction is Obama wins by 52% to 48% in the popular vote against Mitt Romney.
