Following Sunday's news, however, Clinton responded with a statement thanking her "longtime friend" for her service to the party and, seemingly without irony, announced that Wasserman Schultz would now serve as her campaign’s honorary chair.

To be clear, I’m a long term institutional Democrat. I understand that we need to stop Trump. I took my Bernie sticker off my car many weeks ago, and I’ve replaced it with Hillary. But….
Could there be any more tone-deaf move than this?
Without letting an hour pass, Hillary names the former DNC chair as her honorary chair. It is as much as saying to the left, “We don’t need your votes. Go away.” That is how I read it, and as I say, I am not one of the Bernie or Bust folks, I’ve been arguing against them for several months now. And in one swoop, Hillary cuts the ground out from my argument.
What is she thinking? Anybody?
