The film organization revealed that Smith was asked to leave the Academy Awards after slapping Chris Rock, as the comic addressed the incident for the first time at a show in Boston.

Wahhhhh, he refused to leave... Come on, there weren't police officers around? If you really wanted him out, you could easily have gotten him out.

They don’t have to arrest him to force him to leave.

If you are at an event and the person I’m charge of the event wants you out… the police will kick you out because at that point you are trespassing. If I had somehow gotten invited to the show and jumped onstage, the police would have made me leave.
