Will Russia turn the gas back on?

Just about everyone now admits that Trump was right when he said that European energy policy was shit.

That's interesting.

Russia should put its head in the oven if it can't find a way to oust Putin.
That would be the most efficient use of their gas.

You do understand that a Putin replacement would very likely be worse....right?

Then the transition would have been a failure on the part of the Russian people.
They don't have much of a track record setting up democratic governments, that's true.
And it's on them.

Well the gas is on, maybe temporarily as it appears that the West will now refuse to do the rebulds of the turbines which drive the gas going forwards. The one that was recently done in Canada is now sitting in Germany, the Germans having so far refused to deliver it, blaming the Russians.

The Chinese or the Russians might have the ability to rebuild the turbines, but this is far from a sure thing. Notice that the Chinese have had enormous problems with both commercial and military jet engines, which is not a good sign that they can do this. If the Russians could do it then why have they been sending them West?

they turned it on at 40$. say there is more turbine repair needed which requires sanctions bypass which Germany will see to.

but it will likely come back at 20%.

Russia is winning he sanctions game.
