I'm hardly a scholar on the subject of Islam but I've read enough [yes Thingy, actual books] online and off line to be able discuss it somewhat intelligently.

The biggest problem as I see it, is that the radical Muslim's may be outnumbered but their argument isn't without some merit. Some would even say a great deal of merit.

It's a big part of the why radicalism is such a severe problem in Islam.
