Wildfires, record heat, devastating storms

Strange, none of the deniers seem to be able to answer the question regarding the severity of the current wildfire season.

1871... 1500 died, 3.8 million acres burned in WI

1988... 1.2 million acres burned in Yellowstone

1994... 24 died, 3000 homes burned in Oakland/Berkley CA

Antarctic sea ice, on the other hand, was 2.4 percent above normal, 15th largest in the 34-year record. Again... obviously global cooling...

Apparently global warming causes global cooling and some fires in Colorado.

Remember when the record heat was in Europe? I want it to go back.

Oh God you miserable little prick! You're not going to be happy till you get that misinformed ankle biting freak yapping again, are you?

Not surprising Mutt the fool defends the troll. Let me guess Mutt, you too think that six months in one country = global warming?

LMAO @ thinkprogress

Yeah, they did... on less than 1/10th of one percent of the water used.

They highlight the lack of snow this year etc... yet we had record snow and water last year. It happens.

Man, they are making Weld County extremely rich... Bastiges.

This US summer is 'what global warming looks like'

Talked to a friend of mine, just a couple of days ago, who lives outside of Redding CA and he said that it was just a short time ago that they had a fire in their area and they were sure they were going to get hit.
Had the cars packed with everything they could fit in, with the dogs, and were getting ready to leave when they got the all clear call.

So, based on these 3 (uncited) fire incidents, are you saying the 1871, 1988, and 1994 seasons were worse than this year's?

I don't know anyone who disputes global warming, anymore. If they do, they're not looking at the facts & patterns of the last few decades. AGW is the point of contention.

So none of the respondents in this thread are disputing global warming?

Looks like the Republicans in the NC Legislature are denying that gloabl warming exists...

Lawmakers in North Carolina, which has a long Atlantic Ocean coastline and vast areas of low-lying land, voted on Tuesday to ignore studies predicting a rapid rise in sea level due to climate change and postpone planning for the consequences.

Backed by real estate developers, the Republican-led General Assembly passed a law requiring that projected rates of sea level rise be calculated on historical trends and not include accelerated rates of increase.

Is that what it looks like?

You can look up all three... those were just three I chose. Google worst fires in US... you will find many more.

Yes, all three either burned more acreage, more homes or took more lives... especially that pesky one in 1871...

The point dear troll is that we have had many fires, it happens, especially when there is a dry winter... that leads to more fires. I can't help but note that last year was the opposite. Yet I don't recall your posts about global cooling???
