Don't know, would they murder unarmed citizens and then say they were afraid? Shouldn't be cops.
Stupid question.

So you have personal police escorts with you at all times over there? How sad to live like that.
Bravo! Yes, the 1911 is a handgun. The M1 Garand and M1-A are rifles. I'll sell you one, or all if you have the money (if you can pass the background check and have an inkling of how to load and fire one).
If I sell you one of my Garands, when loading the magazine, make sure to keep your thumb on top of the cartridges to secure them when the bolt slams shut
Oh, and yes, I'm allowed to vote(by the way, it's they're)
I don't know if the M1 had an auto-mode." the claim made by another of your idiot class is that is the RESPONSIBILITY of every American to OWN A MODERN MILITARY RIFLE. Is that too hard for your wee little mind to comprehend? " OT #484
Unbelievably, nobody except Israeli politicians and Trump ever need police protection.
I didn't say all. My cousin became a cop in Phila. right out of the military, did well and is retired. We hunted together for years, good guy.
Don't you know a vet or two who would make a good cop?
Ahhhh, once again a low IQ right winger demonstrates his lack of reading comprehension. Now, just so the fool can get a grasp on reality, the claim made by another of your idiot class is that is the RESPONSIBILITY of every American to OWN A MODERN MILITARY RIFLE. Is that too hard for your wee little mind to comprehend?
I trained with the M1 back in '62 you fucking asswipe. I am sure there have been changes since then. Of course, I can even remember when you could buy an M1 for 70 bucks at Montgomery Wards.

No, I don't.
Then you should get out more.
I do.Originally Posted by RB 60

"No, I don't." GX #488
Each is military issued, and in competent hands, is as effective as any modern weapon.
Yep, Wards and Western Auto sold shoddy welded and refurbished M1's, but believe me, mine aren't any of those.
As for fully autos, if I want to spray lead, I have shotguns for that.
Along side the 1911, my pick for a rifle would be one of my hunting rifles because one well placed round is all you need.
I'm very familiar with MPs. Just stop. The military attitude has caused a lot of problems and not solved any. I don't want Sergeant Rock patrolling my neighborhood, I want Andy Griffith.
I believe he retired.
Your neighbor hood must be like mine, rather quiet and peaceful. But not all neighborhoods are. Andy would have problems in those. Real assholes don't deserve respect.
Unfortunately, some with and without military training have left their badges go to their heads and developed an "attitude," yet don't use their heads under stress. I just
believe those with military training to assess a situation and act accordingly are better equipped.
As usual, you miss the point, and you do so either ignorantly, or deliberately. So, read the sig of your BBF Rune, and tell me what it says.
And not all of the weapons sold by Montgomery Wards were garbage.
Shotguns have a very limited range, and for "spraying lead" you would need something along the lines of birdshot which is not very effective for stopping power. No. 2 buckshot would work in close quarters.
How many times have you missed a deer, or an elk, with your hunting rifle? That is why they have that full automatic.
And I disagree. I think they get violent first and that's why I don't like seeing them become cops.
The right wing will never admit it since common sense is not their forte, however, this is a good example of why we do need more restrictions. And please, for the useful idiot toadies, don't try to make this into gun confiscation like you NRA masters have told you:

I have got to hear this argument and the logic or the lack thereof. The 2nd amendment is subject to regulation but the 14th and its "jurisdiction" clause is not? Why?
I read the posts here, don't you?
Most M1's given to gun clubs and sold publicly were 2nd rate. Of the 14 given to our gun club, some had worn parts, some misfired, some jammed and some had barrels as smooth as shotguns. My father and I took the best parts and built 2 that were rather decent from the lot. Those we lent to the ones who were serious shooters.
As for my shotguns, the ones I use have been patterned and loaded accordingly, depending what size shot I use. My 1100 3" mag. has good range with #4 shot.
Yes, I've missed a deer on occasion (no hunter hasn't), but an auto or semi auto would not have been any more advantageous. After the first shot you must reestablish aim or you're not going to hit shit. Recoil is real.
