Police Chief Billy Durbin announced on Friday that two women charged with the murder of 26-year old Evan Frost acted in self-defense after the man tried to sexually assault them.

The two girls, both juveniles, shot Frost with a .22-caliber handgun after he assaulted them.

Durbin refused to discuss the girls’ age or name in order to protect their identity. Upon further investigation of Frost, police discovered he had an active marijuana growing operation in his home.
