I feel the leaders of all three branches of governmetn should have attended, especally the leader of the branch that was attacked.
Franken, Reid and Carter are not the leaders of any of the three branches of government.

It might be, in fact. With the Supreme court, it is not necessarly the chief justice who traditionally does the ceramonial roll of the court. Often they share the roll, much more so than the other branches.
But it does seem to me Roberts should have been there, I did not mention it because it was not the supremem court that was attacked and Roberts is not an elected official.

THe Speaker of the House is the leader of the Executive Branch, not the Senate Majority Leader.... I am not saying he is in control, I am saying he is the leader of the institution that was attacked.
