Why the world would be a better place without Facebook, Google and Amazon.

When I went to high school, the internet was only used by universities and the like, and the WWW did not exist. Communicating internationally was prohibitively expensive. The only source of wide ranging information was the library, which was often very limited. I believe things have gotten better in the last 30 years, and that is why people like "Primavera" want to turn back the clock.

Oh yeah. I tried that Pokemon app thingy. Not the same thing. Though I love Geocaching. It makes you go into the woods. I recommend the app.

Google used to suck and Yahoo worked better. Google got really good around 2006-7 and then they bought up a bunch of servers the internet runs through and it's been downhill ever since.

Also, their monopolizition of ARM OSes for the cell phones doesn't help. They track everything and crawl contacts.

They are lower-intestine deep into everybody's business.
