The Republican party has long had a reputation for being the political party of wealthy White men.
The problem is, that seems no longer to be a viable voting demographic.
And even the atmospherics favor Democrats.
The Republicans can point to Secretary Rice, the first Black woman to be Secretary of State.
But the Dems have Obama, the first Black president,
and Hillary, the first woman nominated ast presidential candidate by a major U.S. political party.
Republicans simply look flat-footed on it; in a climate when our demographic is changing.
Demographers say it won't be long before Whites are a minority in the U.S.
The Republicans don't seem to have an answer for that. And they keep losing.
