One will have to give. But in the long run paying more for goods, while raising wages and standards of living will be fruitful in the future. Eventually it will outpace cots of goods.

The standard of living and wages will rise while costs go down due to greater productivity. Restricting the supply of labor and/or creating price floors will only significantly improve the lot of government agents.

So we should grant them amnesty and full citizenship? Because of the financial burden?

Personally I would grant Amnesty to those who are working, have no criminal record, and give them a path to legal status. Not citizenship.

Deport the rest, and those with criminal records. But obviously secure the border first.

Actually history shows the opposite. Americans wages were much higher before we adopted NAFTA and other bad trade policies that outsourced most of our good paying manuf jobs.

Yeah, you're right; because it's really just black and white and we should just allow the illegal immigration to continue.
Remove the border patrols, which will save money, close all our deportation centers and allow them to go where they want.
