Why scott brown will win

Nobody likes this bill but the health insurance lobbyists who wrote it and democrats desperately searching for something they can call reform.

The Senate version of the bill .. which any bill that passes will mirror .. is almost the exact same "reform" that Mass. already has .. and they don't like .. with all the same pitfalls of exploding costs.

70% of MA voters want to keep the reform.

No I just cant figure the math. Under no circumstance would I pay less money then I pay now to support a family of 4. Please someone tell me.

If I pay 160 a month right now to have $25 copays and full coverage including maternity, vision, dental, adoptions, etc.. How is it going to be cheaper if its decoupled?

Consumers would comparison shop instead of just going with whichever plans their company has.

The three plans offered are a false sense of freedom.

There is no reason healthcare should be through our employer.

Dude, seriously - you think that's a lot, considering all that the profession entails?

I think that's pretty modest. You don't think doctors should average in the 6 figures?

I don't have as much a prob with 160, but specialist a over 200hundy is a major problem.

LMAO... WHY? WHY is THAT a major problem when you have Wall Street bone heads making MILLIONS for destroying the economy? Why is THAT a major problem when their medical malpractice averages around $25-50k per year depending on their specialty?

Why is THAT a problem when C-level exec's rake in MILLIONS.

When models make millions for 'looking pretty' (or anorexic)

when Athletes make millions for playing a game?

Quite simply... you are full of faux outrage. Given the level of training a doctor must go through, the costs of medical school, malpractice insurance and oh... the simple fact that for them a mistake can mean costing someone else their LIFE. You are foolish to think that they are overpaid and most certainly moronic for thinking that their salaries are any type of major influence on health care costs.

A "major problem"?

I couldn't disagree more. You're still not talking about exorbitant salaries, considering the professions involved, the amount of education involved, and the consequences of their work.

It just doesn't seem like a lot to me. You're pretty off on this one...

LMAO... it is not road rage you dumbass... I want to understand why it is you feel doctors are overpaid. You call salaries in the 200's 'outrageous'. I compare that to other industries who do not require nearly as much educational training, do not have malpractice insurance and that do not deal with life and death... those industries pay far more.

AGAIN... salaries of doctors is NOT a major reason for rising health care costs. You are simply making that shit up.

You have some grudge against doctors that is personal and it is clouding your judgement on the issue.

I dont mind paying for our state.. I just dont wanna pay for other states healthcare.

You're not a Massachusettsan. You're an American. How does it make sense to be fine with paying a black single mothers healthcare because she lives in Boston but ignore the hundreds of thousands in the Mississippi delta? Sentiments like this take America backwards.

My primary concern is with getting as many Americans healthcare as possible. This ignores the poor Americans, the poor human beings who need the help the most.

your a fucking kid, wait till your in the hospital with an ill parent and the tool making $400,000 charges you $250 to say goodmorning etc.
I know what they make and you can put all the blinders on you want. Not addressing doctors cost will result in continued rise in medical cost above cpi.

Mississippi can pay for there own. This country is to large and diverse to have a one size fits all plan. Does the European union have one blanket plan?

Never said they wanted to get rid of it .. I said they didn't like it, especially the exploding costs .. which caused Deval Patrick to amend it.

Pretty much everyone likes it. Hell, Scott Brown is campaigning about how it is so great that we don't need the national reform bill.

I can tell you being well connected in the healthcare industry in this state that the wait times have increased and the costs are running well over the estimates. So lets not lie to the American people that those things wont happen. I believe its best to be honest.

I didn't say everything was perfect. I said pretty much everyone likes the reform that passed here such that the Republican in the election being held today is running on its success.

You are an idiot top. You keep changing your amount... first the doctors outrageous salary is in the $200k's... now you are up to $400... in your fantasy world the salary rises are certainly out of control. Most doctors in a hospital are not going to be making $400k. That $250 is NOT because of the doctors salary you dolt.

I also know what doctors make top.... and compared to other professionals.. they make LESS on average. Their salaries are NOT a major component of rising health care costs. No matter how many times you stamp your feet and shout that they are.

Side note moron.... I am 38... and I know far more on this topic than you. Which really isn't a surprise.

38 yr old retard who steals from old ladies.
400,000 is not out of line for specialist. I was recounting a personal case of my mom's. Saying good moring for $250 might be cool with you. Most people would dissagree.
