What's important are a few things:
1. The GOP knew about this allegation, and likely others, but chose to obscure them from the public so they could slip their nominee through in order to protect them from the inevitable conclusions of Mueller's investigation.
2. The fact that Brettany has categorically denied this even happening, despite his bestie who says he was there during the attack, shows he's lying. In fact, we saw the same thing happen with Moore; his instinctual response is to deny, deny, deny. But then he slowly began walking that denial back as more and more information came out.
3. Brettany lying about this fits a larger pattern with his consistent lying to Congress, specifically about Pickering, but extending through his time as a swamp monster in the Bush the Dumber White House. And yes, he was part of the Bush the Dumber regime...the same regime that you can't seem to recall supporting due to your Bushnesia.
4. Because you've all cast your lot in with Brettany, your judgment is now also thrown into question. For, if you had such poor judgment to support Brettany (like you did with Moore), then what else has your judgment been wrong about? Tax cuts. Deregulation. LGBT. Really, all of it. So by tying your judgment to Brettany, you've inadvertently opened up that judgment to a broadside attack.

I'll say it again, the actual truth. Obama exercised his power and "nominated" a judge for the Supreme Court. Senator McConnell in return exercised his power and ignored executing the "advise and consent" duties of the Senate for the judge Obama nominated. There was no allegations of sexual assault or any other crime directed by McConnell or any Republican toward the Judge Obama nominated. As Obama noted, "Elections have consequences." Republicans controlled the Senate consequently by way of an election.
Democrats on the other hand have chosen to throw a last minute hale Mary by attempting to destroy the life and achievements of Judge Kavanaugh and his family with 27 year old sexual assault allegations impossible to prove or disprove simply to block a Donald Trump nominee to the Supreme Court at least until after the mi-term elections, in hopes that Democrats will retake the Senate and stop every Donald Trump nominee to the courts as long as he's President and avenge the "elections have consequences" issue.
The former destroys nobody's reputation, or life of anybody and their family. The latter does exactly that, can you see the difference? Who's the lowest of lowlifes?

It's also in the Constitution the President's selections for the court "MUST" be confirmed only by the advise and "CONSENT" of the United States Senate.
No right of President Obama was "taken away." He exercised his right of selection without any obstruction from any Republican or anybody else.

The fact is the senate has the power to make sure the president does not offer up a totally unqualified candidate of repaying a favor. Not only did the Repubs stop the process, but refused to hold hearings and many did also refused to even have conferences with him. If your crippled mind, do you define that as advice and consent? They do not have that right. They have advice and consent. there is a process to follow and they did not.. They blew it up. They refused to hold a hearing. they refused to talk to Obama's nomine..
