Let’s see, What Judge Kavanaugh did or didn’t do 35 plus years ago in high school is ohhhhhh so important all of a sudden. We must listen to the “me too” lynch mob gang of Senators that call themselves Democrats. Apparently by all reports Senator Diane Feinstein and the Democrats had this information before Judge Kavanaugh was even nominated by Trump. He according to the Democrats, a woman has now come forward and claimed that the judge either raped or attempted to rape her 35 plus years ago when they were in high school together. The accusations aren’t completely clear yet.

Senator Feinstein had the opportunity for months since the nomination of the Judge to bring these accusations out. Isn’t it perfectly clear to any rational person of any integrity that the tactic of dropping the dime at this point is just another spoke in the Democrat’s delay, delay tactics wheel to keep this Judge off of the Court? If the accusation truly is sooooo important now why wasn’t it sooooo important the day judge Kavanaugh was nominated and every day after that?

It's the democrat's hale Mary pass with no time left on the clock. If it works, the plan going forward is to postpone any Trump appointment beyond the midterm election. The Democrats take control of the Senate and never will a Trump nominee be confirmed as long as the Dems can hold the Senate. That's the plan, they've been colluding together since Trump got elected. It's Chuck Schumer's grand scheme. If Dems' take the House, their first act will be Impeachment of Trump, Nancy Pelosi is licking her chops.
 
there is a Ford in your future. Our Rapepublican party wants a trumplike person on the court. thomas was not enough. Kavanaugh is a Daffy type and we want more women abusers with great power. She took and passed a polygraph. Perhaps Kavanaugh will do that and settle the problem for all of us to see.
 
It isn't Ford that is the issue so much as why did the Fine Senator from California hold onto this information for so long, not present it in hearings, and wait until it was 4th and goal before suddenly coming to Jesus. Maybe the Ford story is true. Maybe it is not. The real question for me deals with the coverup until the last second.
 
Didn't McConnell delay a Obama Supreme Court pick?

Maybe this is a Republican Strategy that Dems are adopting?

Ford asked her not to do it. She did not want to go through the crap that was sure to come. she was correct, as this thread shows.

Rightys think she is lying? What does she have to gain but a lifetime of abuse by rightys. Not much of a payoff, Why would Kavanaugh lie? i dunno, maybe a seat on the highest court on the planet. And a chance to pulll the country back a century or so into crazy right wing policies.

Oh she asked her not to the Senator then dumped it on the FBI and leaked its contents at the 11th hour out of the goodness of her heart, huh? You need to go back to defending looters. At least there you have an equitable argument.

Not even remotely close. Republicans didn't do anything the Democrats had already demanded in the past.

In 2007, approximately 18 months before President George W. Bush left office, Sen. Chuck Schumer said the Senate "should not confirm any Bush nominee to the Supreme Court except in extraordinary circumstances."

Always loved this one, Biden said it in the summer, not January, and at the time there wasn't a vacancy nor impeding vacancy on the Court, unlike 2016. In addition, it was never bought before any Senate consideration nor ever employed in circumstance

McConnell's regurgitation of the line is totally bogus, he used it just to sell his 100% political move in the right wing media, which of course they perpetuated and lemmings bought

Ah, it was McConnell who made the decision in January, close to a year before the next election, and unlike with Biden, there was a Supreme Court vacancy at the time, amazing how you can get your facts so wrong

Who gave her the polygraph and who graded it and what court of law accepts polygraph test as valid evidence?


Perhaps Kavanaugh will do that and settle the problem for all of us to see.

And if he doesn't want to take the chance of a defective polygraph he's automatically guilty in lefty land, right? You do know why polygraph test are forbidden in courts of law as valid evidence, right? THEY'RE HIGHLY UNRELIABLE AND HAVE BEEN PROVEN SO.
