Why, MAGA? Why isn't anything on this list a deal breaker for you?

He was denied a jury trial in the James case and got a bench trial where a single judge, not a jury, a single--by his own admission, Trump hating judge--rendered a verdict. That same judge denied Trump witnesses and used land values that were pure fantasy he made up on his own. A total sham of a trial.

In the criminal case, Bragg had to twist NY state law into a pretzel with legal reasoning never seen for that statute before to bring the case.

In the case of what's-her-name, the state of NY changed the statute to give her a 1-year window to get past the statute of limitations so the case could be brought. No amount of dissembling on your part will persuade me that the state--who's politicians HATE Trump with a capital HATE--didn't target that change in state law for that one year which then reverted to the previous law just to get Trump. They did, end of story.
His lawyer fucked up the jury trial. He was denied nothing during the whole trial.
Trump changed the property values for years, up for loans, down for taxes.

Why, MAGA? Why isn't anything on this list a deal breaker for you?

  1. Trump brags about grabbing women by the pussy.
  2. Trump is accused of sexual assault by multiple women and found liable for sexual abuse in a court of law.
  3. Trump and his cronies engage in a fake electors scheme and pressure state officials to break election laws to try to overturn the 2020 election.
  4. Trump is found guilty of overinflating the value of his assets and falsifying business records.
  5. Trump repeatedly violates the Constitution, ignores the separation of powers, denies people their right to due process, and attempts to suppress free speech with threats against the media.
  6. Trump releases violent criminals from prison.
  7. Trump pressures governors to create more Republican seats in Congress to rig the 2026 election.
  8. Trump refuses to release the Epstein Files, thus protecting pedophiles.
  9. Trump enacts massive tariffs, raising costs on American companies and consumers.
  10. Trump uses the presidency to make him and his family even richer.
Any one of the items on this list should be enough for any ethical, moral, and intelligent person to withdraw their support from Trump.

The fact that MAGA tolerates all of them shows who these people really are.
It's because MAGA morons admire Trump for not just doing those things, but getting away with it. I've never seen a MAGAt with a normal or higher moral code. They are all scumbuckets. Completely fucking useless pieces of shit who should be scraped off the shoes of Americans.

So you say. I'm of the opinion that he was railroaded by a kangaroo court system in NY that had to bend the law and rules of court into a Gordian knot to get him charged then convicted.
There is that cult mentality. It can't be true because the cult leader told me it isn't true.

If you weren't in a cult, you might look at the actual evidence which clearly shows Trump committed fraud. Do you think it is OK to misclassify expenditures to hide there actual purpose? Do you now think it is OK for someone to misclassify a house as their primary residence?

In order to prove fraud you need to show they knew and intended to commit the act. That is a rather high bar in a court of law. In the case of Trump it was obvious Trump knew the purpose of the payments since he authorized them. In the case of a checkbox on a form that is many pages long, it is rather hard to prove intent.

So deep in the cult you simply make up bullshit or regurgitate bullshit that is obviously false.

The judge didn't make up any land values. He used numbers provided during testimony in court. If you weren't so deep in your cult, you might be able to see reality.

Was Trump's apartment in NY really 3 times bigger than it was when actually measured? Or were the numbers provided by Trump to his lenders pure fantasy that he made up on his own?

Most MAGAts are suffering from dementia, so it's common for them to fall for scams, fearmongering and get roped into a political cult of personality. It also explains why most are divorced and estranged from their families.

Understanding Cults: The Basics

To help others, it is important to understand mind control and undue influence.

Key points

  • No one joins a cult; they are recruited by systematic social influence processes.
  • Destructive individuals and cults use deception and undue influence to make people dependent and obedient.
  • Not all influence is bad. There is a difference between due and undue influence.
  • Cult leaders are typically malignant narcissists and want people who will be obedient to them.

There is that cult mentality. It can't be true because the cult leader told me it isn't true.

It is likely true that he was railroaded because of the way it was done, by whom and where it was done. Bragg, like James, openly campaigned on "Get Trump."

In order for Bragg to charge felonies, he has to have an underlying crime that was committed and prosecuted. He didn't have that. Instead, he and Merchan let the jury decide if Trump might have committed some underlying crime and if they felt that was the case could find him guilty. It is YOU that is ignoring the actual evidence and law in favor of a TDS cult of GET TRUMP!

No. Under the law Bragg charged against Trump in order for it to be a felony, not a misdemeanor, it required a proven underlying crime. Bragg substituted a claim that Trump might have committed such a crime under federal law--something Bragg COULD NOT USE IN NY STATE AS THE BASIS FOR THE CASE HE BROUGHT. Merchan then allowed that dubious legal reasoning to bring the case and even further supported it by instructing the jury to use this imaginary crime as their basis to find guilt.

This case has more holes in it than a screendoor without the screen in it.

It's more than likely true that you are in a cult the way you deny reality to protect your cult leader.

There were 4 underlying crimes. The claim that there were none is complete nonsense and a denial of the actual court rulings. The appeals court even recognized the underlying crimes. The jury didn't have to find Trump guilty of any underlying crime. They only had to decide there was an underlying crime. That is the law. Some cases in the past had charged underlying crimes and some didn't. The appeals court has upheld those convictions where there was no conviction for an underlying crime. Past precedent shows that Trump's case was properly brought.

Wow. There you go again with your complete disregard for reality and the law. It's funny that you make a claim that Trump's lawyers knew not to make in court because it was specious and went against the law as written.
The courts have all agreed that the underlying crime doesn't have to be a state crime since the law doesn't restrict it to state crimes. But in the case of Trump there were underlying state crimes as well as the federal crimes. There was no imaginary crime. The jury had to find there was a real crime that more likely than not was underlying the fraud. The jury didn't have to convict him of that crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

Your arguments are filled with so much bullshit at this point, I don't think my waders are high enough to step into most of them.

Why, MAGA? Why isn't anything on this list a deal breaker for you?

  1. Trump brags about grabbing women by the pussy.
Democrats.
  1. Trump is accused of sexual assault by multiple women and found liable for sexual abuse in a court of law.
by Democrats.
  1. Trump and his cronies engage in a fake electors scheme and pressure state officials to break election laws to try to overturn the 2020 election.
No such thing as a 'fake elector'. It was DEMOCRATS that committed in election fraud, causing the 2020 election to fault.
  1. Trump is found guilty of overinflating the value of his assets and falsifying business records.
Never happened. No business records were falsified and the loan was paid and the bank accepted Trumps valuations.
  1. Trump repeatedly violates the Constitution, ignores the separation of powers, denies people their right to due process, and attempts to suppress free speech with threats against the media.
Democrats.
  1. Trump releases violent criminals from prison.
Democrats.
  1. Trump pressures governors to create more Republican seats in Congress to rig the 2026 election.
Never happened. A Democrat lie.
  1. Trump refuses to release the Epstein Files, thus protecting pedophiles.
Democrats. What files?
  1. Trump enacts massive tariffs, raising costs on American companies and consumers.
Domestic products aren't subject to tariff. Trump actually lowered a lot of tariffs. Others he raised.
  1. Trump uses the presidency to make him and his family even richer.
Good. Capitalism makes EVERYONE richer, if they have the initiative to go out and work productively.
Any one of the items on this list should be enough for any ethical, moral, and intelligent person to withdraw their support from Trump.
I never supported Democrats. You can't blame Democrat problems on Trump.
The fact that MAGA tolerates all of them shows who these people really are.
MAGA isn't a person, Sybil. You can't blame Democrat problems on Trump.

Trump is a 34-time convicted felon out on bail awaiting sentencing. He has 3 more serious crimes to answer for. The Trumpys ignoring who and what he is are a huge problem and a threat to America. You are trying to hide from what he is. That makes you a bit guilty, too. You are blindly and wholly supporting a law-breaking idiot for the presidency.
Nope. No business records were falsified. No rape conviction. No conviction of pedophilia. No felonies...not by Trump.

The NY judge and the prosecutor both broke the law.

Despite all the smear campaigns by you Democrats, despite all the fake news, despite your attempts to assassinate him twice, despite your lawfare, despite stupid committees, despite your rioting, your vandalism, your arson, your organized crime, your insurrections, and all the illegal aliens you imported; Trump was elected President again.

And he isn't messing around this time. Now you reap what you've sown.

It's because MAGA morons admire Trump for not just doing those things, but getting away with it.
MAGA isn't a person, Sybil. What did Trump 'get away with'?
I've never seen a MAGAt with a normal or higher moral code. They are all scumbuckets. Completely fucking useless pieces of shit who should be scraped off the shoes of Americans.
I agree. Democrats fit all of this description.

It's more than likely true that you are in a cult the way you deny reality to protect your cult leader.
Non English portion ignored.
There were 4 underlying crimes.
What crimes?
The claim that there were none is complete nonsense
Nope. It's a binary thing. There was no crime.
and a denial of the actual court rulings.
A kangaroo court is not a valid court. False authority fallacy.
The appeals court even recognized the underlying crimes.
A kangaroo court is not a valid court. False authority fallacy. What crime?
The jury didn't have to find Trump guilty of any underlying crime.
What jury? What crime?
They only had to decide there was an underlying crime.
What jury? What crime? No jury can make up more 'crimes' to convict someone of.
That is the law.
The judge and the prosecutor broke the law.
Some cases in the past had charged underlying crimes and some didn't. The appeals court has upheld those convictions where there was no conviction for an underlying crime. Past precedent shows that Trump's case was properly brought.
What crime?
Wow. There you go again with your complete disregard for reality
Buzzword fallacy.
and the law.
Breaking the law is not the law.
It's funny that you make a claim that Trump's lawyers knew not to make in court because it was specious and went against the law as written.
Breaking the law is not the law.
The courts have all agreed that the underlying crime
What crime?
doesn't have to be a state crime
What crime?
since the law doesn't restrict it to state crimes.
No State court can prosecute anyone for anything from State law.
But in the case of Trump there were underlying state crimes as well as the federal crimes.
What crime?
There was no imaginary crime.
What crime?
The jury had to find there was a real crime that more likely than not was underlying the fraud. The jury didn't have to convict him of that crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

Inversion fallacy. You've already sunk.
