Why I've come full circle, Trump for Republican nomination!

Conservatives want a light hand in regulations as far as business, but they want the government to be regulating people's personal lives heavily.

I personally like government regulations, I don't want lead in my drinking water or Listeria in my salad, I want safe drugs, safe roads, no price gouging. Conservatives always trust that government and business will do the right things, but in truth, but have to be regulated.

That's a strawman there to say conservatives want no government regulation on business. There is a LARGE difference between saying we are overregulated and saying we should have zero regulations. People use the line you did to try and scare others that if it's not one extreme it has to be the other.

They want to do away with whole agencies that regulate businesses, I would say that is pretty extreme.

You have a knack of ignoring the obvious.
DC lurched left years ago and only kept running. Only younger people do not know this.
But the BIG point you are ignoring and it appears under his name a lot (and I made a post about this month's ago) he is about making America great AGAIN.
That means first returning us to prosperity from the under 1 % growth your team got us.
Forget homosexuals and all the petty distractions and get back to defending our borders and enabling prosperity.
This is the conservative way and nobody (maybe Noot and Romney a little) has been doing this.
That's the origin of his popularity and the reason the donkeys can't touch him.

O.M.G.
Red Skelton had nothing on you.
That was some funny shit.

The Commerce, Education and ummm, let me think, what was it, (doing my best Rick Perry imitation) oh, yeah, the EPA

Don't forget the IRS. Cries of, "Abolish the IRS" always gets GOP thunderous applause.
It show how greed is their primary motivating factor.

Outside campaign rhetoric have Republicans ever tried to pass legislation eliminating those agencies?

And how does the DOE regulate business?

They are ineffectual and have always let their constituency down after promising radical legislation.
Some would call them liars

Jarod's lost it.

Nah. He is just coming to realize;

I think America's great now. What are your standards of greatness?

Right, and the ATF, or AFT, can't remember what comes first Alcohol or Firearms? It also looks like the Interior Dept should be on the list.

Oh like back when people had jobs, wage increases, kids having a better life than their parents stuff like that that BO couldn't do in 7 years.

I think all those things are happening now, like they always have been. Just because we had a recession doesn't mean the country's not on an upward trajectory.

Try seeing the glass as half-full. :)
