Why is Trump lying about the tax plan?

I don't jump around. This is what Trump has been saying for weeks, SF. The speech in Missouri prompted the thread, but it's all stuff he has been saying for weeks.

I didn't realize I had to frame my threads around people who haven't been watching the news, paying attention to politics & who know absolutely nothing about Trump's tax plan.

I'll gear them toward you & those folks going forward. I apologize for all of the confusion this has caused for you. It will not happen again.

Next time, just state: "I haven't seen Trump's plan, and I'm not familiar w/ any of the provisions. Can you teach me about it?"

It would have made this thread easier.
 
My husband is apolitical. He invests and that's all he cares about when it comes to politics -- how a proposed new bill will affect the economy. I asked him this morning his opinion on the GOP tax reform bill. He had a lot to say but the reason he most dislikes it is that it is going to drive up the deficit. Right now the economy is doing quite well. This is when the govt should be trying to run a surplus, so that when there's an inevitable downturn in the future they will have the means to combat it with stimulus spending. He fears that this tax scheme is going to crush economic growth -- and his investment portfolio along with it -- by increasing the deficit to record high levels.

For myself, I think it's bizarre how the deficit was all the Teatards and contards bloviating about when Obama was POTUS. Now, suddenly, deficits don't matter. Why is this?

Trump is literally saying as loud as he can physically say it "I want you to keep more of your money", and like some retarded hobo that thinks he has everything he needs already, you loons are standing there saying "no thanks you're just going to go give other people some of their money too" as if you hate those other people so much you'd rather he keep it.

Yes Trump is rich, yes he has rich friends, yes they will always be rich. what do you want?

Again... not one link to his actual words. Just you constantly changing what was 'said'. I pay attention to politics, not every speech the idiots give. Which is why most people provide links to things they wish to discuss. That way you don't have to continue jumping around as you did in this thread.

And if your husband understood anything beside reading the stock ticker he would understand that this tax reform has a chance of jump starting the economy to something we have never seen in our lifetimes, Incentives for companies to bring back business to our shores, elevate wages.

What is more striking in all of this than anything is how a blowhard like you will question Trump on business. It's what he does, and quite successfully. he is playing you, congress, illegals, ISIS, Rocket Man and anyone else that dares try him like the fiddles you are.

He is two steps ahead of you in every move he makes.
