I do have to thank you for letting me know right away you were a moron.
They took neither Kiev nor Odesa, so they did not take the land they said they would. They have also said they will take Alaska and maybe as far as Arkansas... But once again, they have failed to take Kiev and Odesa. In fact, they have made almost no progress in the last 6 months. They have lost territory in the last 6 months.
At best they are in a severe quagmire, but they are definitely not winning.

They never wanted to take Kiev, it isn't theirs. They do effectively own Odessa.
India has twice the aircraft carriers of Russia. India is a rising world power. In a few months it will have a larger population than China. In a few decades, it might have a bigger economy than China.
Meanwhile Russia is a joke that is not even funny.

Kiev is where being a Rus began. Putin claimed that it was the origin of Russia, and has always been there. Their attempt to capture Odesa has not only been pushed back, it has been pushed back far enough that Odesa is not directly being threatened. A reminder that Odesa is more Russian speaking than many of the places that the Russians have captured, but the Odesans fought hard for Ukraine, especially the Russian speaking Odesans.

They control Odessa and they didn't take Kiev. They said from the beginning they wanted the Donbass and they wanted to control the Black Sea. They have done both now.

I wonder how many people have considered assassinating Putin because of the disgrace he has brought to Russia. I'm sure his personal security is world class, but his clunky, bumbling military is a world class joke.
Russia has one 55,000-tonne STOBAR carrier that was built in 1985, named the Kuznetsov. It is currently being refitted, and so probably can not be put into operation.
India has two carriers, 45,400 tonnes STOBAR Vikramaditya, built in 2012 by the Russians, and the 45,000 tonnes STOBAR Vikrant, built in 2022 within India. Both are fully operational right now.
So India has twice as many carriers, of similar size and capabilities to the one Russian carrier, but India's carriers are newer and actually working.
In other words, India can project their military power globally, and Russia found it impossible to project their military 60 miles from the border.
Oh.
Putin said at the beginning he wanted the first capital of the Rus, which is Kiev.
They do not control Odesa. The Russians have been pushed back to the Western bank of the Dnipro River, retreated from Snake Island, and completely lost Kherson. They are far enough away from Odesa that they can no longer shell it, and there is no direct way they can attack it. At the beginning it looked like they could capture Odesa, but that was 9 months ago. Today, they have no hope of taking Odesa.
As for control of the Black Sea, Turkey still controls access to the Black Sea. Ukraine can destroy any ship that sails far out in the water in the Black Sea. Russia's remaining Black Sea navy (minus its biggest ship) hides in its ports.
Putin is executing huge numbers of his top supporters, because he realizes many of them are considering killing him. This is not winning.
