Lurch let’s get real Chicago has very strict gun laws but it has a high murder rate. We had plenty of guns when I was a kid but we didn’t have school mass shootings. Guns have not changed people have. This isn’t the good old days when anybody could just walk into a school. We need to limit school access and arm selected personnel . I know a school principle that conceal carries a 357 magnum at her school. She trains with the local police department. She shoots monthly at the same shooting range that I shoot at. She is very proficient with her gun l would hate to go up against her specially if the shooter didn’t expect her to be armed. Clearly the first line of defense can’t be police that are 10 minutes away when seconds count. The Uvalde shooter got into the school through an door that had been propped open. Again we had doors that were wide open and plenty of readily available guns when I went to school. Mass school shootings dis not happen . Guns have not changed people have. Language like calling a harden target a prison is unhelpful my friend.

No those gun racks just held semiautomatic shotguns and rifles that can kill you just as dead as as semiautomatic AR 15 . Get serious. Do you even own a gun.

Um. No. Gun laws don't work because there is no federal standard. They're all, by state, patchwork. If gun laws were enforced consistently, nationwide they would work. They work in Australia, they work in New Zealand.

I don't hunt, my friend, but I promise if you and your kiddos want to, I want you to. You don't need an AR15 to do it.
