Because DEMOCRATS won't fund TSA.
DEMOCRATS won't fund TSA.
To assist and possibly replace TSA personnel temporarily, since DEMOCRATS won't fund TSA.
I would allow longer until TSA gets funded and they can hire and train replacement officers, or until ICE gets enough training to operate TSA stations.

Remember when the left painted ICE agents as jackbooted monsters who’d shoot grandmas at the airport?
Senator Richard Blumenthal had a full meltdown, screeching they’d be “brutalizing people and shooting them.”
Reality hit like a freight train:- ICE rolls in, handles crowds, checks IDs, and gets shit moving.- CNN’s own reporter was forced to admit: “We can finally take a deep breath.”

Trump somehow thinks this is a winning election issue for him, and has ordered the republicans to not take the deals to fund TSA that have full bipartisan support and were drafted by republicans and dems together.
