Why is ICE at airports?

Given they are scared for their jobs, I think Congress will come up with the 2/3s necessary to overcome a Presidential veto.

Many will be ousted come the midterms. ;)
It's known who they are. Better candidates will get funded with or without the GOP.
It's not business as usual for Washington rats anymore. :nono:
This year is the time to take a stand to stop that hot garbage.

What I understand from today is that's not the case.
The "Republicans" will compromise, (give Democommies billions for illegals)
but Trump will not sign it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's where it's at right now.
There's been enough of this shutdown garbage over the years anyways. Fix things so Congress doesn't get paid
if that happens and it stops lickety split I'd bet.
Trump 2.0 is not messing around. At all.
If anyone doesn't get paid because Congress won't do their job,Congress doesn't get paid!
If any American 🇺🇸 Citizen doesn't have Healthcare, Congress doesn't either

Guess what proposed legislation congressional Democrats have shot down?

Democrat senators have recently obstructed (via procedural objections) Republican-led bills and resolutions aimed at withholding congressional pay during government shutdowns or related failures to fund the government.

This has occurred multiple times in the past several months amid an ongoing partial government shutdown (tied to disputes over DHS/immigration funding and broader spending). Here are the key recent examples:
  • November 2025 (No Budget, No Pay Act): Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) sought unanimous consent in the Senate to pass his No Budget, No Pay Act (S. 88, originally introduced January 2025). This bill would prohibit members of Congress from receiving pay in a fiscal year until both chambers approve a budget or appropriations bills. Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) objected, blocking it.
  • Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) pushed a resolution (reported as S. Res. 526 “No Shutdown Paychecks”/“Withhold Member Pay” measures) to freeze senators’ paychecks (held in escrow or withheld without back pay) during the government shutdown. Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) objected to unanimous consent, blocking passage.
These blocks happened through the Senate’s unanimous consent process (any one senator can object, forcing a full vote or debate).

If any American Citizen doesn't have Healthcare, Congress doesn't either

I thought the ACA took care of that. No?
