Troops as you call them have signed a contract that in effect makes their constitutional rights secondary to the commanders above them as they signed willingly and in good faith while making a pledge to their nation et.al, to do what is necessary. But its good of you to project the image that you are privy to the orders of a national security concern. Geeze what bullshit some will stoop to in order present a personal ad hominem attack.

Mr. Trump is working for THE PEOPLE et.al, and using the military to keep those promises made is part of the job description.

The military having relinquished their personal constitutional rights are used as a tool to ensure the freedom and rights of the whole. Its clear that you have never served and being a leftist "hate" anything to do with the military...and are simply feigning concern in order to project yourself (one of the two faces that all liberals hide behind) as a defender of the military.

As stated before and easily proven.....when one is inducted into the military either by free will or conscription (draft) their constitutional rights change depending upon the union code of military justice. Their first duty is not to self but to country in the defense thereof by following the orders of those appointed above them. In a combat situation covert or declared.....people die, sometimes depending upon the importance to national security....all the information can't be publicly revealed, and yes even to the point of presenting misinformation in order to confound the enemies of the nation.

You attempt to "talk the talk" without ever having "walked the walk". That phrase exists for a reason. You are projecting a judgment with no way in hell of knowing ALL THE FACTS.
