Could be but some SJW activist (she deleted all her social media) accusing attempted sexual assault while no one else has, from over 30 yrs. ago when they were both minors at a time and place she can't remember and no one else corroborating her story, looks pretty bad too.
Washington has become a three ring circus.
Look, it's all part of the Conservative strategy here...they will go down with Kavanaugh because if they even admit to themselves that he possibly did commit this assault (and all the unrelated perjury from when he was a Bush the Dumber swamp monster), they can't admit it publicly because they will have squandered all their credibility and judgment they put into that turd of a nominee. Conservatives will not be able to admit he's fucked up because that would mean their judgment is also fucked up. So like a poorly-knit sweater, if you pull at that thread, the entire fucking sweater unravels.
If your judgment was so poor you thought Brett was a good nominee, isn't it also possible your judgment was wrong about Trump, about tax cuts, about deregulation, about any of the beliefs you have that came as a result of your judgment?
That question is the "Sweater Song" of Conservatism. Answering it only impugns their personal judgment...and they pride themselves on having good judgment.
So attack their strength.
Go after their judgment. They cannot defend it.

Ford remembers some essential FACTS about the "party." The kind of unforgettable facts one would remember.
She knows Kavanaugh (whom she knew before the party) forced her to her back on a bed, jumped on her, attempted to take her clothes off, and stifled her attempts to call for help.
Who gives a shit what day it was...or what specific party it was at.
I can vividly remember memorable (unforgettable) events from parties in my youth...and wouldm't be able to tell you "what party"; "the day of the week" it happened; or even the goddam year.
So can most people here...including the assholes of the American right trying to mock Ford for not being able to do so.
You scum ought to help make America great again by emigrating.
This is the best example of bad faith Conservatism there is.

So back in 1991, a similar situation happened with Anita Hill.
White male attacks were such bad optics that a record number of women ran and won elections in 1992.
Today, there are a record number of women running for office again, under almost the same circumstances we're seeing with Brett the amateur rapist.
So if history is any indication, how do you think attacking a survivor of sexual assault 6 weeks before the election will play out with women...who are the majority of voters, BTW?

Anywho, yes, this will definitely rally more women to the polls. And women are pulling for Democrats by a wide margin; 60%-40% in the latest Q-poll. A 20% gender gap will only grow larger after Conservative attacks on assault survivors.
