Why I don’t believe Fords story

Neither of us knows if she is telling the truth...or stretching it, Irish.

Put an occasional "perhaps" or "it is my guess" in your dogmatic posts. You will be the better for it.

In the meantime, I hope we all get a chance to hear her story FROM HER. I dread the idea of another woman going through what Anita Hill went through at the hands of a judicial committee.

I almost hope she decides to tell her story to a reporter from a reputable news source...rather than going before the committee.
 
It would be interesting to know what the Real story behind all this is...we'll probably never know..unless she has a change of heart and confesses...
I seriously doubt that the "party of 4"...unknown where, when, why, what, and, yes, who...ever took place. I wonder why she created it? So many years ago. *Maybe this will help her heal...finally....if she tells the truth.....

Which would make her look like a money grubber who was afraid to face her accuser and be instantly discredited. Even the Democrats on the committee are reportedly livid with Feinstein for pulling this stunt. It completely undermines the woman's accusation. Feinstein's practically incoherent explanation further undermines the arguments of the internet apologists in that she has no recollection of ever speaking with Ford or her Attorney after receiving the letter 3 months ago which contradicts her statement that the woman wanted her to keep it confidential and that was the only reason she never told anybody.

Ummm...the fucking jerk-off assholes of the American right will never be satisfied with anything that can possibly cast the right in a poor light...so who really gives a shit about that disgusting mob.

I think Ford could give an interview with no money involved. Short of that, perhaps independent questioners before the committee could be arranged. I doubt enough psychiatric help for the conservative members of the committee could occur before the needed testimony is obtained.

Refusing to be scrutinized for her allegation would destroy ANY credibility she has to anybody other than democrats and you pretend "not democrat"'s. Feinstein set this woman up for partisan political gain. There is no other explanation for why she is now demanding at the 11th hour more hearings and more witnesses to investigate him further when she has known for 3 months and went through the hearings that already happened without saying a peep. The only way the democrats will save any face in this is to lead the censure movement against Feinstein. They cannot sit on their hands, receive the benefits of this stunt, and not be tainted by it themselves.
