Trump Listed As Contributor For Epstein's 50th Birthday Book, New York Times Confirms
The New York Times has confirmed that Trump was on a list of contributors for a book of messages once compiled for sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday. The Times report follows an earlier Wall Street Journal story, which detailed a letter Trump had sent Epstein for his 50th birthday that included a racy drawing and an imagined conversation between the two. “May every day be another wonderful secret,” the letter read.
Trump has called the WSJ report “fake news” and sued the publication for defamation. A White House spokesperson also told The New York Times that its Thursday report was a “continuation of the fake news stories concocted by the Democrats and the liberal media.”
In its new piece, The Times also printed an introductory letter for the book written by Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking. Maxwell wrote that the goal of the book, which also listed Victoria’s Secret owner Leslie Wexner and Bear Stearns chief Alan Greenberg as contributors, was to “to gather stories and old photographs to jog your memory about places, people and different events.” Drudge.com
