Okay...so we make sure NOT to give something for nothing. We demand that anyone getting the UBI contribute in the most productive way possible.

For some people (of all races, creeds, and ethnicity) the most productive job they can do...is to stay the hell out of the way of people who truly WANT to work...and who work productively. We'll give them a job title of "Stay the hell out of the way specialists"...and pay them a decent salary.

Then the jobs that truly have to be done by humans will be available for those people who CAN work productively...and they will be paid accordingly. Some jobs that presently pay piss poor wages may move up the pay scale. If a person can get paid to stay out of the way...he/she will not be willing to shovel shit for a poor salary.

...so ubi would buttress calls from your opposing pincer plan party to cull the useless eaters.

If the person has other ways to meet his/her needs...the job is NOT needed.

If everyone had sufficient...no one would HAVE to work.

I think most people would work anyway...both to make life interesting...and also to have more than just "sufficient."

I am being a hell of a lot more "real" than people who think there are going to be enough decent paying jobs for humans in a technologically advanced age such as the one in which we are now living.

I almost always root for the machines. It seems the correct thing to do. Machines more than likely are the next significant step in human evolution.

Maybe that's why we have not been visited by aliens. We have not advanced to machines.

That made no sense.
