Donald Trump's Empire has both gained and lost during his presidency!
Even though his empire is making millions off of his hotel in DC, and his property at Mara Lago, his golf resorts are operating in red ink around the world. Now, that could be because he over-invested in the properties. But the Trump logo brand is under siege and is coming down off of many towers around the world as more business leaders are distancing themselves from the Trump brand.
So Trump has both helped himself and hurt himself financially while holding office.

Golf courses are not good investments. Trump got tons of money from Russia and paid cash for several very expensive courses. Trump said he was the king of debt. He knew that paying cash was a bad investment idea. He never explained why he did that.
Trump was brokeahantas before he got Russian money. How much does he owe and to who? If he showed his taxes we would all know. There has to be some reason he hid them and fights to keep them hidden. It cannot be a positive.
