Why does Trump only live in Liberal places?

It seems that Trump, who I assume could live anywhere he chooses, only lives in the most liberal spots.

NYC, BEDMINSTSR, NJ, and Palm Beach.

Trump would be so welcome in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, or rural Georgia.... Why does he chose super liberal cities to live in?

Palm Beach (his official residence) is the most liberal zip code, not only in Florida, but the entire South.

I guess inside of your head is a pretty liberal place lol.

Ha! This whole discussion makes me laugh. Liberals rip on Florida (because they perceive it as being red) all the time yet somehow living in the state isn't good enough. Republicans should only live in parts of the state that have red majorities? For people who claim to be about diversity and say they don't support segregation it's a rather interesting position.

I kind of like leaning right cuz he is my only hope, but you nailed it here, and the mentality.

The singular thing that Trump obtained that his party wants, other than stacking the court after Republicans stole a liberal seat with foul play from Obama, is
he managed to make every moderate conservative and every single liberal hate Republicans mother fucking guts.

I believe they really like that. He did not pursue any policy based in reason or earnest desire of Republicans, he pursued policies designed solely
for the purpose of being as fucking deplorable and hurtful to the group as he could.

The republican party likes Trump ONLY FOR THE HATRED.

leaningright, you are dead wrong.

Do you think that the Republican party wanted Donald Trump and the consequences of his stupendously failed administration? I honestly think that Trump hijacked the Republican party, which had no member with enough gravitas and authority to resist his takeover. Then, lost beyond finding, the feckless Republicans who didn't have the balls to eject the party decided to mimic its orange god. And here we are.

I normally wouldn’t even waste time with a thread like this but I couldn’t resist that one lol.

This current crop of lefties is all about segregation.

So we see here a lot of what is wrong in this country. People like Deisel get elected on the left and people like Trump get elected on the right. Moderates on either side are seen as weak…RINOs one the one side and Blue Dog traitors on the other. We argue and argue and paint the other side as evil…

By the way, I’m not a Republican.

And I'm not a Democrat.

Still begs the question why you have spent numerous posts not answering the question.

Why did Republicans elect a liberal? His "accomplishments" do not tie to his "promises". Do you actually not see what they did? If you bother me to respond again, please actually address the fucking post.

I most certainly am and have been very open about it.

I have no interest in separating by ethnicity, however.

I just don't believe the BLUE and RED should have to live with each other.
It's obviously not working.
Both Republican and Humans, different as they are, would be happier living among their own

If only it was possible to segregate MAGA's from polite society. to do it we'd need geographical borders like back in the 1860's......which would mean uprooting millions of people........but I take your point, these whackjobs are beyond help

Well, quality of life. Conservatives bash urban living because cities tend to be bluer because cities are more refined and evolved than the cornfields of Nebraska and Iowa, but then they all live and work in cities. Most Fox News crackheads, conservative podcasters, reich wing bloggers, and conspiracy theory nut jobs live right in our cities, benefit from our culture and services, work in our cities, and rail about how our cities need to be removed from the US.

In a single word -- the word that is most synonymous with modern American conservatism -- hypocrisy.

I'll speak for myself. I live in urban areas because I like the action. I want sports teams around me. I want bars that I can walk to. I want restaurants that I can walk to. I like the hustle and bustle. But cities have been around as long as man has. That has nothing to do with being liberal or conservative.

But you come to parts of SF and LA and they look like third world countries. It's atrocious and quite frankly heart breaking. And even progressives in these cities reach their breaking point and call it out.

I will not argue against those who call Republicans hypocrites. But glass houses my man. Democrats claim this big tent and tolerance and being for the working guy/underdog and standing up against the powerful yet they sh*t on people who don't live in urban areas and coastal areas and god forbid they don't have a college degree. If you want to use the word it's absolute hypocrisy.

you're a bitter man, doesn't matter where you live

He likes living around rich people.

Kind of interesting to hear someone on the left say having more money makes you a higher class person. (Not that you don’t think it but to actually say it…)

Well, comparing the social standings of an inner city neighborhood, a working class suburb and Trump’s Mara Lago resort area which would you say can be
described as “upper class”. It’s about knowing the time of day, etc.

“Glorify.” Many here see Fox as the representative voice in news they haven’t had … ever.

In the days of Kronkite the news was simply reported. Then the likes of Dan Rather [seemingly] made his reach to derail Bush. Then CNN. Fox was seen as the answer to the perceived support of all things liberal and marginalizing of all things conservative that our “news” median had become.

So, once again, perspective.

George Dumbya Bush was one of the worst presidents in the history of this great nation. He blundered us into two failed wars, and he presided over the worst economic meltdown since 1929.

The fact that the media did not do enough, especially early on, to report on the incompetence and malfeasance of Dumbya almost marks them out as collaborators,- not wild eyed Marxists

Even your hero and Demigod Trump recognizes how badly Dumbya failed.

You're not wrong in that those with money are likely to be better educated, more sophisticated and more worldly. But we also know people with traits can also be some of the biggest P.O.S. and some 'average Joe' can be the most salt of the Earth person who'd give you the shirt off his back while the rich person wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

It would be in everyone's interest if we could cleanly cut away the MAGA cancer from the civilized society. We don't want them; and they don't want us. Let's just separate. The geography will be the hard part, but I'd be willing to state sponsor them all a plane ticket to Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, or Texas if they want.

I keep a home Manhattan and one in Boulder, CO because I crave both lifestyles. Some days I need to be able to run downstairs, grab a bagel and a coffee from the ground floor deli, and then walk to lunch and dinner after taking the subway to work. Some days I need to be able to bike for 5 miles before I even get to my nearest grocery store, listen to the hawks scream and the grasshoppers chirp at night, and camp on a mountain miles away from the closest living person.

Urban poverty is as old a concept as cities itself; and it isn't a "progressive" problem. The exclusionary feeling related to the Democrats' base is well founded. I would dare to say, though, that it's less a reaction to the existing membership (educated, affluent, urban) than it is to the membership that simply can't be considered (the Trump cult).

They live to live among liberals.

Which is why he is so popular with his base. He pursued what he campaigned on much more doggedly than previous “conservative” presidents since Reagan.

I can’t stand him. I hope he doesn’t run again. He is a vulgar, foul mouth semi-literate egomaniac. But I understand his popularity.

But he was a failure at almost all of his promises. Was he really trying? Or just giving them a show.
