Bush cut taxes in 2001 and revenue declined until 4 years later.
So the tax cut reduced revenue.
Why, I am glad you asked. I have more money in my pockets as a result of the ongoing tax cut policies. Unfortunately, even that doesn't keep up with the massive increase in the cost of everything from utilities, to gas and groceries.
My only saving grace is a nice 401K, a lovely pool home in a gated community that is paid for, two nice cars, one here and one in Canada that are fully paid for and a nice in-law home in Canada.
