Why does it take MORE than three days to count the vote???? This is an OUTRAGE

It doesn't take any longer to process a mail in ballot than an absentee ballot. It isn't a "Republican" thing. This is a Party of the Jackass thing. Everyone warned them this would be a disaster.

So tell me; why are other states able to process their votes without taking FOUR or even FIVE or more days? Did Texas take this long? Did California? Illinois?

This is an abomination that does nothing to promote confidence in our election systems.

Absentee ballots ARE mail in ballots.

California has processed only 74 percent of its ballots. Texas is still counting, so is Florida. But the winning margins in those states are already clear. This is easy information to absorb if you're willing to absorb it instead of feeding yourself on a conspiracy theory. Grow up.

The law from whom? Who put these laws into place? Conservatives who controlled the Legislature. So again, their fault for the slow count.

I don't think that Pennsylvania is governed by conservatives. The laws were put in place by the Pennsylvania legislature. Each state has their own laws and runs their own election. Stop being deliberately obtuse.

No you didn't. You stated nothing. You seem upset. Take a deep breath. Maybe something will come to you if you meditate.

Not upset moron; I grow weary of dishonest clueless dumbasses like you asking painfully stupid questions over and over after I answer them.

Now do the world a huge favor and fuck off and die.

There is a legal distinction and an entirely different process to receive an absentee ballot. In order to get an absentee ballot you fill out a form and have the ballot sent to a different address than the one in which you are registered. Mail in balloting is a different animal, we use this method in CO... your ballot is sent to your registered address and you are expected to vote the ballot and either drop it in a drop box or mail it back. You do not ask for this to happen like I would for an absentee ballot... In fact in order to vote Absentee the same process still exists in Colorado... I would have to fill out the correct form and have the ballot sent to where I would be other than where I have registered and I would have to send it back.

Georgia does. Pennsylvania does not. It's called state law.

Fuck off you dumb tard.

This is an OUTRAGE for BOTH sides. How is it that elections we have had in the past were counted by midnight now are taking days and days to count?

Because there has never been such a huge amount of mail-in voting in recent history.

And the concept of "election night" is actually a recent invention. For most of American history, it took months to count all the votes.

Yeah. All the fake ones started showing up around 3a.m.

Reps make gains in House.
The Senate holds.
Trump gets 5mil more votes than he did in '16.
Black and Latino voters show up big time for Trump.
Hillary tells Plugs not to concede ahead of time, then thousands of late ballots appear...all for Plugs.
But, we're to believe that Trump lost this election? No.

No they are not you willful idiot. In order to get an absentee ballot you have to be a registered voter with a confirmed address and signature on hand and request the absentee ballot.

Mail in ballots are sent out to residences regardless of whether that voter still lives there and can be filled out by anyone.

Absentee ballots are also mailed, unless hand delivered. The point is they present same time consuming problem as other mailed in ballots. But the real question is why are you a willful idiot on what matters in this discussion. No one is stealing the election.

Uh-huh. They all just magically appear in TWO DIFFERENT STATES at 3a.m.
Go buy a bridge somewhere. :palm:

ROTFLMFAO!!!! Congrats on THE stupidest post of the day. No need to wait, we can award this one now. Early voting and mail in ballots were all received before the polls opened on election day. Many states counted those votes well before election day. They can't be reported until the polls close, but the counting was happening in multiple states way before election day. You didn't know this? Wow, you are an ignoramus.

Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin elected to not allow counting of mail in ballots until election day, which is why those states are taking so long to report. Althea is correct, this is due to the actions of Republican legislatures.
He lasted one post, and he immediately made 'the list'.

I see he's still quoting me, but it's good to see that I made the right move.

There is no rush. Bidens electoral college victory won't happen until next month, and his inauguration not until January 20th. Plenty of time.
And the longer it takes, the more mini strokes the orange buffoon has. And his kids are hysterical! Poor, unloved little twerps.
