I don't know why pegged pants thinks that the people from Scotland and Northern Ireland are inferior to him other than the fact that he's a genuine south hater.

The Scots Irish shaped America. They were and are a fiercely independent people who were always first to fight for this country.

My relatives were smart enough not to go to the Appalachians, they were Protestants, but not Calvinists, after meeting you, I am grateful.
 
The Scots Irish also settled in the north which explains me and my blood connection to the south. I'm very proud of my ethnic connection.

Very little would have gotten done without these people.

Well I know Kane is a south hater like you are.

The mountains were available and extremely tough to settle in and the Scots Irish being poor settled there. Your parents weren't better people than mine .. you're simply a hateful feminist who despises everything and everyone that doesn't view the country like you do.

Everybody who jumped on this thread did it because of knee jerk reactionary hatred for the conservative south and this topic was a good one and answered why I'm am bonded with the southern people. They are my people and they are me.

And I am very proud of that fact.

Philly rabbit, out of curiosity what kind of response were you hoping to get here? I think it's great you're proud of your heritage but were you expecting everyone else to say they all love Scot Irish's as well?
