Why do we have black history month?

It is amazing how upset some people are getting that Blacks are pushing their way into the history books. They have earned their place, and are right to demand it.
There are black history classes you know.... Black history textbooks... All kinds of black history stuff....

And NONE of that even comes close to the conditions actually experienced by the actual victims.
You are completely missing the point. Whether or not your ignorance is willful or just comes naturally to you, is something I don't care enough to make a guess about.

We all know that during the first half of the twentieth century blacks suffered severe discrimination in all walks of life. Even though that is no longer the case, and is no longer a valid reason for blacks not to be reasonably successful in life, it's still something that should be acknowledged and not forgotten about.

Of course you agree it's a myth. Do you know why? Because its a fucking myth!!!!!
I was talking about modern day, "systemic racism" being a myth.

The racism and discrimination suffered in earlier decades is not a myth, nor are the lingering effects on the psyche of the descendants of those who directly experienced it.

Stop conflating the two issues.
And self absorbed white guilt pussys need to let all their progressive friends know how "enlightened" they are.
That might be true of some, but it's still not a reason to not set aside one month per year to acknowledge past struggles and achievements.

You just need something to spew your miserable, hate infected bile about.
