Why do liberals love Islam so much?

For those who were politically active 30 to 40 years ago, this is nothing new.

Back then liberals were squealing bobby soxers for any tinhorn Communist dictator who set up shop in any third world shyte hole on the planet.

It reflects an inner yearning to dispel with the competition that liberty provides, and live under a tyranny that provides not equal opportunity, but instead equal results.

Why should a brilliant chemist receice more of life's rewards than someone with a PhD in Interpretive Feminist Dance?

Communism is gone, Putin won't bring it back. Islam is the next best thing.

If SA explodes it's as likely western influence ( the young foreign students from SA) going up against the old Wahhabists is part of the equation.

Thank You. Like it or not SA is the big regional power in the ME that is capable of checking the Iranians.
The oil price depression is really hurting SA ( while we boost the Iranian economy by Obama)
and we need them if we are going to have any say left in the ME. Obama really screwed us over.
Eqypt and even Israel under Obama had to tilt towards Russia.

The internecine hatred between Iran and SA causes a lot of rifts, but yes realpolitik means we put on our big boy shoes and deal with the situation -and for that we need a working relationship with SA.
 
While the US and other western countries constantly appease the loathsome Saudi regime and its financing of insane versions of fundamentalism, we are going to have terrorism. And, unlike Iran - which is in many ways a modern culture distorted by the West's destruction of political choice and driving opposition into the Mosque - Saudi Arabia is still firmly in the Middle Ages.

We should take consideration with any alliance there. Sunnis are the crazier muslims that formed ISIS and AQ and carry out attacks on the west. Shias tend not to. In fact most terrorists have not came from Iran or Iraq in the last 20 years or so. Most come from SA and Sunni areas where hatred for the west is taught daily.

Then again Iran is a state sponsor of terror and trying to develop nukes. We are a rock stuck in a hard spot again.

So why does the left love Islam and Jihadism? Can someone finally explain it to me? They rape murder and subjugate women. Not the "radical" ones but under Sharia law, which is enforced by the state. Being gay is a crime. Gays are executed and thrown off buildings. Where's the liberal outrage? Where's the protests? Where's the freakouts?

There are beheadings being conducted right outside Mecca. If the Vatican was conducting beheadings libs heads would EXPLODE with outrage.

Why the double standard?

Libs want our country broke just like in Great Britain. Muslims there have multiple wives and plenty of kids in separate houses and have no problem taking all the welfare money from taxes paid for by the hard working Brits. Life is good for the Mussies, just like so many welfare kings and queens here...taken care of from cradle to grave.

What a lot of unutterable Nazi bullshit! We are not broke, very very few Muslim men have second families, and they contribute hugely more in taxes than they take out, as well you know.

The exploitation of young women is general everywhere, and we have arrested plenty of 'Christian' rapists too - but at least our local sexism hadn't landed is with a Great Fart sooner than someone female. Yup. Britian and Europe were conquered from within. Muslims moved in, and began overpopulating them. Pretty soon Europe will look a lot like the middle east. Islamic and toiled in sectarian violence.

Here in Britain, few religions last long, but a few unemployed characters with nothing to think about are like the ex-Papist Irish who went in for the IRA. And subsequent reports indicate it is still underway.
