Sorry, anatta. Thinking that liberals (and real conservatives) oppose these kinds of things because they "love Islam" is drool-level stupid.
But, you've been making that journey since the election anyway.

Know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, admit it or not, the United States of America is a nation populated by immigrants.
We do have small populations of aboriginal American descendants. But their numbers don't add up to a rounding error in view of our entire population.
And Trump's recent discriminatory move against Muslims
is a serious threat to U.S. national security.
I'll cite an example, but there are more than one.
In Iraq for example, we got native Iraqis to assist our troops during the occupation. They served as guides, as translators, and other key roles we were unable to perform on our own.
AND IN EXCHANGE for their service, our agreement with them was that if their welfare was threatened, if either they themselves, or their family members were at risk of reprisals from the bad guys in their native nation, Iraq for example, that we would transport them to safety in the U.S.
Trump has broken his word / our word on that.
So future assistance in the nations where we will wage our future wars may not be forthcoming.
Imagine how crippling that could be for U.S. battling ISIL, or terrorists in Yemen, or even Libya.
It's just plain FOOLISH!!
President Trump has brilliantly solved a problem WE DID NOT HAVE !!
But now because of Trump, we may have an even bigger problem.

Also they weren't discriminatory. They served gays all day long. They did say they had a religious objection to serving at a gay wedding or ceremony. This was their ONLY objection. They were NOT kicking gay people out of the restaurant like the FAKE NEWS was telling everyone.
