NPR, PBS, Pacific Broadcasting, the McClatchy News services......some of the few real news and public service outlets that are NOT 100% beholden to the conservative corporate view agenda.

I remember when Amy Goodman gave Bill Clinton hell during a phone interview by merely sticking to the facts and NOT letting Slick Willy BS his way past her. She was chastised by her colleagues for being "disrespectful", and she replied, "Well, that's what happens when a journalist does not go before an elected official on bended knee."

Did Goodman get praise from Clear Channel? Fox? the WND? Limbaugh? Crowley?

As far as the news departments are conserned, they all have a conservative pro corporation bias.

I know you conservatives are blinded by the fact that you see anything left of the far right fox news as a liberal bias

Media don't exist to serve the public interest. That was not their function in 1791, and it should not be expected now.

That's debatable but what isn't, is that public corporations DO exist to serve the public interest and that IS indeed their function and it damned well IS expected of them.
