Government doesn't grasp the concept of keeping on time and under budget. If there's cost overruns, who cares?
The private sector is beholden to their shareholders.

And pretty clearly you seem to lack even basic understanding of how gov't works as they can print their own money where a business can't. Go back to just cussing sir. More your speed
 
I agree with the OP. Our government(s) should be inefficient, ineffective, wasteful, mismanaged, delinquent, and, above all, way over budget. Fraud, waste, and abuse should be the rule of the day in every department of government. Otherwise, we're treating it too much like a business.

No one wins with the gross "mismanagement" of the People's wealth and defense. The way the left attempts to run things there is no accountability possible.
 
the thing i like about businesses is that they can recognize failure. Government has unlimited cash and supplies so they can ignore it. Note the bigger the company gets the less they are able to recognize failurre as well.

It's not clear that demonizing any position in superlatives promotes objective understanding.

"The left" is the category being demonized here.
That would seem to flatter or credit the counterpart, in this case "the right".

The reality is, "the right" does not have a patent on "accountability". Far from it!
