Why did the felon refuse to swear on the Bible?

So there you go........Swearing an oath while having your hand on a Bible is actually an outward expression of rejecting Gods Biblical law for mans law. This SHOULD make you wonder why this ever began here and WHO insisted on making this S O P.

He didn't. The Chief Justice started before his family had gathered and his wife had the Bible he was planning to use in her hand. The Oath had already begun.

He certainly could have placed his hand on the Bible’s at any time. I really do not care except for the hypocrisy of the stink the Felon Followers would have made if Biden had done it.

And she held it near her, not out for his hand. I think she wanted to avoid looking like she was trying to interrupt, but hey. You can be upset if you want, your "anger" is misdirected. Talk to Chief Justice Roberts.

EXACTLY! I would also like to get to the bottom of WHO started this practice.. Whoever did it either had bad intentions on their mind and were not a Christian themselves,....OR had never read a Bible in their life. You are correct,...it is absolutely blasphemous.
