Why did the Democrats keep Biden on the ticket so long?

The stock market is tanking - tanking. We all know what the next jobs report is going to look like. Consumer confidence is at its lowest ebb in years. I have yet to see any economist say that his tariffs are a good idea. We've had our biggest scandal since the last Trump admin, just 2 months in.

And let's not get started on free speech. It's all "personal" with this admin. Have an opinion we don't like? We'll try to deport you. A law firm that dares try to litigate something associated w/ the admin? We're going to put you out of business. Colleges that allow protests for causes we don't agree with? We're going to take away your funding.

I can't believe how much of a disaster this admin is in such a short period of time. Trump is a terrible executive, and his Cabinet is full of people with very little relevant experience or qualifications.

I don't think so. A majority of the American people don't think so.


Trump has his flaws, but compared to Biden, or Kamala, or anyone in the Democratic failure of a party, they are small.


So far, I'm liking what he is doing, allot.

Trump inherited a growing and vibrant economy from Obama. He left a mess.

Seems the rich are upset. I would think a Leftist like you would rejoice at the rich getting theirs.

I don't see Trump wanting to start a "Disinformation Governance Board" to regulate on-line speech. I don't see Trump colluding with social network services to block content and ban users he disagrees with. College protests that turn violent, or ones that espouse open hatred for the US and US allies should see government pushback. Criminals, terrorists, and revolutionaries shouldn't be tolerated.

I can believe that you are imposing your values on this administration and calling it a "disaster" because it is doing everything you disagree with and hate like rounding up criminal illegal aliens and deporting them, deporting foreign nationals who openly call for things against the US, or stopping policies that force DEI on everyone.

Let's start w/ the market. You think the market ONLY applies to the rich? It actually doesn't matter how you answer that - it doesn't, at all. It impacts everyone, and all aspects of this economy.

That whataboutism on speech is not effective. Everyone objective sees what's happening. This admin doesn't like opinions they don't agree with, and are taking action against those who espouse them. The end.

It's a disaster. It has nothing to do w/ me "disagreeing." The economy is significantly worse than it was when Biden left office. The Cabinet is incompetent.

It applies mostly to the rich. People who aren't rich are in the market for the long haul, not short-term returns. So downturns aren't critical so long as the market performs as it has for at least a century now in terms of 10-to-20-year periods.

That isn't "whataboutism," it's reality. Biden followed by Obama were easily the two most anti-free speech presidents since before WW 2.
